INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

It's easy to assume that the Colts won't make a return trip to the Super Bowl, given significant losses on defense and the unexpected retirement of left tackle Tarik Glenn.

But the fact that everyone presumes that the Colts won't make it back to the big game is enough, in our view, to give them all the motivation they need to make it happen again.

We're not saying it will happen, but the team's accomplishments last season merit some deference for now.  They won it all, and are the No. 1 team.  For now.

Key departures:  CB Nick Harper, CB Jason David, S Mike Doss, LB Cato June, DT Montae Reagor, LT Tarik Glenn, RB Dominic Rhodes, WR Brandon Stokley. 

Key arrivals:  None.

Draft pick most likely to make an impact:  WR Anthony Gonzalez.

Coach's current job security:  Indefinite.
